I can't figure out how to do blood in Photoshop... i know it's possible, but I
didn't have the time to play too much. Hence you get crappy blood. Bite me.
I just got my 3D Rendering/Lighting assignment back and got 90%... not bad when
I was convinced that I had screwed it up. I have started Animation now, and just
today handed in a dancing comic book ( in time to FF7 boss theme ) so that
should be ok.
We are doing a lot of work with rigging skeletons at the moment ( getting a walk
cycle etc ), and I missed a step so am kinda stuck, but I should be fine...
What's the deal with everyone bagging on Floppy disks?? At least 3 of the students
in my 3D animation class have out of service floppy drives, and hence copy 1-2Mb
files to CD to get them home... I have always been a pioneer for sticking with
old technologies ( had a 486 - [100Mhz, pre-pentium] till last year ) and it seems
crazy to not use floppies... A 6Mb Maya file compresses (RAR) to less than 1Mb, so
use a floppy! It takes a large Maya scene to exceed 6Mb, so why avoid floppies?
Perhaps 'cos a CD is cheaper than a floppy these days...
